How to Use This Scientific Calculator - Full Function Guide

Basic Arithmetic Operations

  • 0-9 & Decimal Point (.): Input numeric values and floating decimals
  • + − × ÷: Standard addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  • ( ) Parentheses: Control mathematical operation priority order
  • AC: Clear all input expression and reset display to 0
  • = Equals: Evaluate full expression and output result

Trigonometric & Inverse Trig

  • sin / cos / tan: Sine, Cosine, Tangent (switch DEG/RAD mode for angle unit)
  • sin⁻¹ / cos⁻¹ / tan⁻¹: Arcsin, Arccos, Arctan inverse functions
  • DEG / RAD Toggle: Switch angle input between degrees and radians

Exponents, Roots & Factorial

  • x²: Square of current value (value^2)
  • x³: Cube of current value (value^3)
  • x^y: Arbitrary power, input base then exponent
  • √: Square root of input number
  • n!: Factorial calculation for non-negative integers

Logarithms & Mathematical Constants

  • log: Base-10 common logarithm log₁₀(x)
  • ln: Natural logarithm base e ln(x)
  • π (Pi): Mathematical constant π ≈ 3.1415926535
  • e (Euler): Natural constant e ≈ 2.7182818284

  • 0-9 . + - * / ( ): Direct input expression characters
  • Enter / Return: Trigger calculation (= button)
  • Esc: Full clear (AC button)
